Mrs. Malinda M. (Miller) Schwartz, age 43, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 10, 1982 in Mount Victory, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mose E. and Wilma A. (Yoder) Miller. Malinda was raised in Kenton, Ohio where she received her education and was of the Old Order Amish faith. Malinda was united in marriage to Amos E. Schwartz on June 12, 2003 in Hamilton, Indiana and this union was blessed with seven children. She was lovingly cared for by her family until her death. Malinda passed away surrounded by her loved ones at 11:05 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at her residence.
Malinda is survived by her husband, Amos E. Schwartz of Vevay, IN; her children, Martha Schwartz and her husband, Jonathon, Lavon Schwartz, Wilmer Schwartz, Ruby Schwartz, Cletus Schwartz, Matthew Schwartz all of Vevay, IN; her parents, Mose E. and Wilma A. (Yoder) Miller of Flemingsburg, KY; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jake and Rebecca (Eicher) Schwartz of Vevay, IN; her sisters, Ruby Eicher and her husband, Paul of Flemingsburg, KY, Carol Burkholder of McKenzie, TN, Amanda Eicher and her husband, Rudy of Greentop, MO, Fannie Schwartz and her husband, Paul of Bennington, IN, Martha Schmucker and her husband, Michael of Edon, OH, and Miriam Girod and her husband, Nathan of Salem, IN; and her several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her stillborn son, Neal S. Schwartz, died May 27, 2014; her sister, Rachel Miller; and her brother-in-law, Chris Burkholder.
Visitation will be held from Wednesday, December 31, 2025 – Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Schwartz Residence, 9881 Bennington Pike, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, by Bishop Jacob A. Schwartz, at the Schwartz Residence, 9881 Bennington Pike, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Old Order Amish Cemetery, on Shaw Hallow Road, Pleasant, Indiana.
