Mrs. Carol Ann (Ramsey) Sieglitz

Mrs. Carol Ann (Ramsey) Sieglitz, age 76, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on September 21, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the loving daughter of the late Carl Wayne and Ann M. (Gibbemeyer) Ramsey. Carol was raised in Madeira, Ohio, where she was a 1965 graduate of Madeira High School. She resided in Milford, Ohio for 25 years before moving to Switzerland County, Indiana in 1996. Carol was united in marriage to Dr. John Chris Sieglitz on August 21, 1999 in Vevay, Indiana. Carol was formerly employed for Bank of America in Cincinnati, Ohio in the leasing department for 18 years. After moving to Switzerland County, she sold real estate for Kay Brindley and later became the office manager for her husband’s optometry practice. Carol enjoyed gardening, reading and fishing. Carol passed away at 5:58 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Carol will be missed by her son, David Henninger and his wife, Angie of Milford, OH; her step-son, John Sieglitz of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Alex and Taylor Henninger of Milford, OH; her sister-in-law, Patricia Ramsey of Lawrenceburg, IN; her caregiver and nephew, Kirk Shera of Vevay, IN; her nephew, Tony Ramsey of Wesley Chapel, FL and her niece, Chrissy Ramsey of Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Wayne and Ann M. (Gibbemeyer) Ramsey; her husband, Dr. John Chris Sieglitz, died February 6, 2021; her step-son, Steven Christopher “Steve” Sieglitz, died January 7, 2021 and her brother, Jerry Wayne Ramsey, died June 21, 2024.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2024, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
