Mr. Michael Ray Courtney, II., age 47, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 7, 1978 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was the son of Sheree Rosalee (Louden) and Johnny White and Michael Ray Courtney. He was raised in Aurora, Indiana where he attended school. Mike was a former concrete demolition employee for Bluegrass Bit in Greenville, Alabama for 12 years. He was also a former roofer and construction worker in Indiana and Alabama. In his early years of life, Mike attended Aurora Wesleyan Church in Aurora, Indiana. Mike enjoyed playing pool, tinkering on cars, playing video games with his brothers, as well as, playing cards, especially poker. Mike passed away 12:22 p.m., Monday, April 14, 2025, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mike will be missed by his mother and father, Sheree Rosalee (Louden) and Johnny White of Vevay, IN; his brother, Travis White of Vevay, IN; his step-sister, Sheressa White of Hamilton, OH; his several nieces, nephews and 2-great-nephews; his close uncle and aunt, Mick and Julia Louden of Aberdeen, IN; his several aunts, uncles and cousins; his close friend, Tasha Chipman and his several other friends and close friends at Envive Healthcare of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Rieland White, II., died December 20, 2014; his father, Michael Ray Courtney; his maternal-grandparents, Ruby (Stacy) and Carl Louden, and James and Nancy (Rice) White, and his close cousin, Blake Louden.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Ogle Haus, 1013 West Main Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
