Mr. Jason Anthony Hemingway, age 38, of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on April 25, 1984 in Madison, Indiana. He was one of 14 children born to the parents of, Edgar C. “Eddie” and Linda Charlene (Brown) Hemingway. Jason attended school in Gallatin County, Kentucky and Switzerland County, Indiana. Jason was united in marriage to Jessica Nicole Darbro on February 12, 2003 in Vevay, Indiana. This happy union was blessed with four children, Joshua, Jaelyn, Jordyn and Jynna. Jason later met his bride to be Natasha Kay Meade and dated for two years and was united in marriage on October 8, 2022 at their residence. Jason grew up helping his father and siblings with the Hemingway carriage rides in Switzerland County and surrounding counties, which he loved still doing. He worked in construction most all of his life and was employed for Howard Hazeldean for several years before becoming self-employed. Jason was also currently employed for Day & Zimmermann at Kentucky Utilities in Ghent, Kentucky for nearly 10 years. Jason loved horses, listening to music and taking care of his grandbabies, as well as, grilling out and spending time with his family and friends. Jason passed away at 9:41 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, from an automobile accident in Vevay, Indiana.
Jason will be deeply missed by his wife, Natasha Kay (Meade) Hemingway of Vevay, IN; his son, Joshua Hemingway and his wife, Mikailah of Vevay, IN; his daughters, Jaelyn Hemingway and her companion, Dalton Tingle of Vevay, IN, Jordyn Hemingway of Holton, IN and Jynna Hemingway of Vevay, IN; his grandbabies, Daelynn Tingle, Carson Hemingway and Jaxyn Hemingway; his parents, Edgar C. “Eddie” and Linda Charlene (Brown) Hemingway of Madison, IN; his brothers and sisters, Eddie Hemingway, Steve Hemingway, Regina Hemingway, Sissy Hemingway, Jeremy Hemingway, Leann Hemingway, William Nathan Hemingway, Priscilla Moore, Curtis Hemingway, Kevin Hemingway, Cassie Johnson, Natasha Hemingway and Tiffany Hemingway; his special nephews, Joseph and Zach Hemingway and his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
