(Franklin County, IN) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says deputies are seeing what they call a troubling increase in drivers ignoring school bus stop-arms as the 2024-25 school year winds down.
Deputies remind drivers that all school buses on Franklin County roads are equipped with high-definition camera systems similar to those used in banks, which clearly capture video of someone ignoring stop-arms.
All of the drivers recently caught on camera doing this were cited.
You can view several videos of vehicles passing school buses with their stop-arms activated on the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
