Lawrenceburg, In. — A Moores Hill man faces seven counts of child molesting in Dearborn County and is being held.
Judge Sally McLaughlin ordered Adam Potraffke, 52, held in lieu of a $100,000 surety and $25,000 cash bond because of his risk to community safety, risk o failure to appear and his occupation as an over-the-road truck driver.
The investigation began in September when detectives called Potraffke to ask for a meeting about allegations he molested a child on several occasions between 2007 and 2012 when the victim was under the age of 14, court documents say. Potraffke told police he would contact them when he returned home from his truck driving job, a call he never made.
Officials filed charges on November 16 and had Potraffke in custody by November 29. A pretrial hearing has been set for January 30, 2018.
