(Versailles, IN) – The Southeastern Career Center in Versailles will hold a mock disaster on Friday, May 3.
The drill will simulate a drunk driver operating a truck pulling an anhydrous ammonia tank.
As part of the scenario, the truck will collide with a school bus which will result in a mass casualty event in front of the Career Center.
The Criminal Justice, Health and Emergency Services classes will respond to the event.
Criminal Justice students will also meet with the Career Center administration to coordinate a shelter-in-place or possible evacuation.
One of the drills will take place in the morning while another is set for the afternoon.
Nearby residents, businesses and motorists are being advised that this is just a drill.
