Batesville, IN—Meg Applegate with Margaret Mary Health recently gave a presentation on the dangers of marijuana use to the seventh-grade students at St. Louis School on February 6th and 11th. Students gained a multitude of information pertaining to marijuana and participated in several activities that simulated being under the influence of the drug.
The activity the students enjoyed most was wearing the goggles that simulated driving while under the influence. This was a great demonstration of how harmful marijuana use could be to not only the individual using it, but also those around them.
