(Batesville, IN) – With flu season right around the corner, Margaret Mary Health (MMH) is again this year recommending the vaccine as your best line of defense.
If you haven’t been vaccinated, the hospital offering patients both flu and COVID shots at two upcoming drive-thru clinics later this month.
The clinics will be held October 24 and 30 from 1 to 5 p.m. both days at the Batesville Street Department garage on John Street.
Appointments are not necessary, but you will need to bring your insurance cards with you.
Vaccines are covered by most insurance plans, but they may also be provided for free to those who qualify.
If you can’t attend one of the drive-thru clinics, MMH offers the flu vaccine through its primary care provider offices or both COVID and flu shots at the Occupational Health and Wellness Center by calling (812) 932-5105.
