Missing Batesville Man Found Safe

(Franklin County, IN) – There’s a happy ending to the case of a missing Batesville area man.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Cody Sorensen has been located and received treatment from first responders.

The sheriff’s office put out an alert Monday that Sorensen was missing and that there was concern for his safety and mental well-being.

He was found safe several hours later.

Deputies are thanking everyone who provided information on Sorensen’s whereabouts.

(Franklin County, IN) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Batesville area man.

Deputies say 29-year-old Cody Sorensen’s vehicle was found at his father’s residence on the 24000 block of U.S. 52 in the Andersonville area.

Authorities say there is concern for his safety and mental well-being.

Cody Sorensen is 6-feet-tall, weighs about 215 pounds, and has blonde hair and a beard.
