Milan, IN — The Milan School Board this week recognized several students for their recent accomplishments.

The four high school wrestlers who took part in the New Castle semistate last Saturday – sophomores Matthew Baylor, Cameron Gilb, and Kaleb Wilburn plus freshman Lucas Richards – were honored at the meeting.

Baylor placed third at semistate and is taking part in this weekend’s IHSAA state meet at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Also recognized for qualifying for state competition were senior JAG students Hayley McKeown and MadisonCavins; the Milan High School Archery team, and 8th-grade archer Abby Carpenter, who qualified for state in target and 3D competition.
