MILAN, IN — Milan American Legion Post 235 has donated $50,000 to the Lainhart family to help with medical expenses.
Marine Cpl. and 2019 East Central High School graduate Kelsee Lainhart continues her recovery from injuries suffered in a terrorist attack at the Kabul, Afghanistan airport on August 26, 2021, that killed 13 US service members and wounded several others.
Nearly 200 Afghan civilians were also injured.
The check was presented to Lainhart’s mother Stacey.
Lainhart is undergoing physical therapy and rehabilitation at a facility in Chicago.
