MES Paid Preschool Registration Scheduled

(Milan, IN) – Registration for Milan Elementary Paid Preschool will open on Thursday, March 6 at 9 a.m.

Principal Travis Rohrig says children must be four years old on or before August 1 to enter preschool for the 2025-26 school year.

Milan Elementary School (MES) Preschool is a full-day program, 178 days a year, and follows the Milan Community School Corporation (MCSC) calendar, which can be viewed on the school corporation website.

The program fees are $20 per day with discounts to those who qualify for free or reduced lunch. The full-day program will follow the Milan Elementary School’s schedule beginning at 8 a.m. and ending at 2:15 p.m.

Please note that transportation is not available for students enrolled in this program.

The first 25 students WHO are accepted will be called on April 1. Parents will be given until April 17 to make a deposit of one week’s payment and bring their child’s official birth certificate and shot record to school.

The remaining applicants will be called and informed they will be placed on the waiting list.

No early entrance requests will be accepted for this program.

School officials ask families to bring an original birth certificate and immunization records. If applicable, families should also bring official court custodial paperwork when delivering the deposit fee.

Spots are limited in the Milan Elementary Paid Preschool program. No registration spots will be final until all paperwork and the $100 registration fee is received. Once the program is filled, all remaining students will be placed on a waiting list.
