Her family was important to her and the grandkids were her passion. She also had a close bond with her co-workers. Melinda was a woman of faith and liked the outdoors, whether that was fishing or camping and those trips tended to be more spontaneous than planned. She had a green thumb and even as her health failed recently, she was still worrying about her plants being tended to and making sure they were watered. Her family also indicated she was a HUGE John Mellencamp fan.
She is survived by her husband Ben; daughter Jamie (Gregg) Brown of Trenton, Ohio; son Dylan (Alisha) Taylor of Batesville and grandchildren Evan, Rylan, Megan and Dylanger. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30th, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home. Following visitation, Melinda’s wishes are to be cremated and a private service will be held. Memorials may be given to the Melinda Wilson Fund through Fifth-Third Bank.
