BATESVILLE, IN — Mayor Mike Bettice reported to Batesville City Council Monday night that the city building department, planning commission members, and the public continue to work on updating the land-use portion of the ordinance manual.
A public meeting is scheduled for July 21 at 6 pm in the Batesville Middle School Commons for residents to learn about the proposed changes.
The revised section and the corresponding zoning map are available on the city’s website for the public to review before next Thursday’s meeting.
Mayor Bettice says to look for “Batesville Development Code,” which is about halfway down the right side of the home page.
Underneath “Batesville Development Code” are two links – one that says “Updated Code Book” and a second link that says “Zoning Map.”
