Mary Susan Smith

Mary Susan Smith, 61, of Butlerville passed away at 12:08am, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Morning Breeze in Greensburg. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on January 7, 1958 the daughter of Charles and Bertie Witt Bunch. She was married to Joel Smith on March 7, 1987 and he survives. Other survivors include her father Charles Bunch of Seven Mile, Ohio; one son Joel (Aimee) Smith, Jr. of Greensburg; one daughter Amanda (Adam) Franklin of Holton; two grandchildren; one brother Charles Bunch of Seven Mile, Ohio; three sisters Donna Walls of Versailles, Patty Saunders of Seymour, and Sherri Cox of North Vernon. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother Tommy Bunch. Mrs. Smith was a 1977 graduate of Ross (Ohio) High School. She was a homemaker and a long time employee of Defender Home Security in Batesville. She was also a former employee of Ohio Rod in Versailles. Mary Susan was a member of the Dillsboro Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5th at 11am at the Indiana Veterans Cemetery in Madison with Bro. Earl Thomas officiating. Visitation will begin at 10am. Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
