Mary M. (Love) Schmeltzer 82, of Guilford, Indiana, passed away Sunday June 2, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born September 7, 1936 in Batesville, IN, daughter of the late Birdzell Love and Mattie (Krall) Love
She worked as a Teller in the banking industry for over 30 years. She started with Peoples National Bank, which changed to Star Bank, and finally US Bank.
Mary was a former member of the United Methodist Church on Possum Ridge and a current member of the First Baptist Church Aurora. She enjoyed gardening and canning her garden goodies. She loved spending time with her family. She was especially good at spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed by many friends and family.
Mary is survived by Daughters, Vicki (Carl) Goodin of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Carrie (Matt) Tibbetts of Guilford, IN; grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Beard, Vince Goodin, Danielle (Michael) Edwards, & Hillary Tibbetts;
She was preceded in death by her parents, Birdzell & Mattie (Krall) Love, Son, Rick Schmeltzer, her loving spouse of 52 years, Gene Schmeltzer, brothers, Bill, Birdzell, Bob, Don, Max, & Ronnie Love, sister, LaVerne Kaffenberger.
Friends will be received Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Memorial Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 1:00 pm following visitation.
Private interment will be held at the family,s convenience.
