Mary Fox, 82 years old, of Dover, IN passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. Mary loved spending as much time with family as she could. She and her husband, Butch, loved to travel and take the kids and grandkids with them. Together Mary & Butch saw all 50 states. Camping was one of their favorite past times when travelling. Mary loved to cook and Butch especially liked her deer steak with mushroom gravy in the crockpot. She also enjoyed playing euchre and began taking up bingo when she couldn’t pull four people together for a great game of euchre. Mary was a hard worker, and also enjoyed relaxing to a good episode of Gunsmoke. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Amvets Auxiliary.
Mary will be greatly missed by her husband, Butch, and children Wade Simpson of Florida, Sharon (Jim) Neihaus of Harrison, Sandra Kemp of Florida, and Amy (Mike) Miller of Batesville. She also leaves behind grandchildren Zachary & Joe Miller, Tommy Kemp, Frances Simpson, Sheena (Jeremy) Ashcraft, and Kris (Kristen) Niehaus; 10 great grandchildren; sister Eveline Workman. Mary is preceded in death by her parents John D. & Molly Dailey, and siblings Ruby Gibson, Sammy Dailey, Dorothy Shields and Omar C. Dailey.
Memorials can be made to ARCC (Aurora Recreation Community Center). The ARCC sponsored exercise classes for those with Parkinson’s Disease and Mary attended classes there regularly.
