Mary Carole Davidson, 80, of Aurora, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Aurora, IN.
She was born Tuesday, July 9, 1935 in Aurora, Indiana, Daughter of the late Roscoe Ross and the late Marguerite Younker Ross.
She worked as a Cashier and Bookkeeper for Super X Drugs, retiring after over 25 years of service.
Mary was a member of Holmes Hill Church of Christ. She enjoyed shopping, Disney World, dirt track racing and was a Nascar fan, especially liked Jeff Gordon. She was an avid photographer. She would take pictures of everyone and everything. (before cell phone cameras). Mary was a “talker”. She loved to visit with friends and family, especially time with her grandkids.
Surviving are children, Vicki Fraley of Aurora, IN, Sherry Rosner (Tony McDaniel) of Aurora, IN, Geoff Washnock of Aurora, IN, Ben (Collisha) Davidson Jr. of Aurora, IN; Darlene (Orville) Johnston of Bright , IN, Sheri (Jim) Edwards, TX, Gena (Tony) Winn of Picayune, MS; Sister, Martha Worley (Bob Kleine); 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Davidson and daughter, Carole Martin.
Friends will be received 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Holmes Hill Church of Christ, Box 10061 Old St. Rd. #56, Aurora, IN 47001.
Services will be held at the Church on Monday, at 11:00 am with Evangelist Tommy Johnson and Evangelist Brent Wright officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Dillsboro, Indiana.
