(Southeastern IN) – Democrat Victoria Martz has announced her candidacy for the Indiana House District 55 seat currently held by Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville).
Martz grew up in the Batesville and Milan areas, is a graduate of Batesville High School, Purdue University, and the Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
She works as a criminal defense attorney in southern and central Indiana. and has previous experience as a deputy prosecutor in Marion County.
House District 55 is comprised of all of Franklin, Fayette and Union counties and parts of Ripley, Decatur and Rush counties.
