Marlene J. (Conaway) Livingston Green, 89, of Aurora, IN, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024.
She was born September 27, 1934, daughter of the late Wilbur Lyle Conaway and Hildegarde (Lachenmen) Conaway.
She worked for Seagrams Distillery, retiring after over 30 years of service. She drove a school bus and was a substitute teacher. In her younger years, she sold Avon, BLine Clothes and jewelry, she even had a store in her home.
Marlene could do anything she put her mind to. Her passion was painting. She was a very talented artist and was a member of Southeastern Indiana Art Guild, serving as a past president. She enjoyed crocheting, making quilts, refinish and reupholster furniture, and landscape. Marlene enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband Don. She also liked ball room dancing, yoga, and going out to eat.
Marlene is survived by her children, Judy Cooper of Huntington, IN, Donny “Fuzz” Livingston, Kathy (Bill) Meyer of Aurora, IN, David Livingston (Trudi Denison) of Lawrenceburg, IN; siblings, Nancy Koslowski of Aurora, IN, Judy (Jerry) Ernst of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Stacy Livingston Mundy, Whitney Livingston, Billy Meyer, Nicole Mobley, Candice Richardson, Scott Cooper, Kalena Livingston, Brooke Livingston; several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Hildegarde Conaway; her first husband, Don Livingston; husband, Robert “Bob” Green; son, Greg Livingston; brothers, Ray, Ralph & Danny Conaway.
Friends will be received Thursday, May 16, 2024, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
