Marjorie P. “Patti” Johnson

Marjorie P. “Patti” Johnson, 84, of Milan, Indiana, formerly of Aurora, IN, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 in Milan, Indiana.

She was born March 17, 1936 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Russell Zeh, Abbie (Kern) Zeh and Iola (Hunger) Zeh.

She was a member of St Mary’s Catholic Church. Patti worked in Group Sales for Hollywood Casino, retiring after over 13 years of service. She ran Lawrenceburg Speedway with her husband Mel for over 10 years. She also worked at American Red Cross as the Tri-state Executor for 3 years. Patti enjoyed word puzzles. Patti’s family was her life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Patti is survived by her loving children, Theresa “Teri” (Robert) Disch of Franklin, IN, Timothy “Tim” (Trina) Johnson of Milan, IN; grandchildren, Travis (Shelley) Johnson of Patriot, IN, Kris (Jennifer) Johnson of Patriot, Cody (Mackenzie) Johnson of Fishers, IN, Chelsey (Matthew) Davidson, Meghann (Lance) Mayfield of Franklin, IN; great grandchildren, Trace, Canaan, Briar, Parker, Ella, Hudson, Liam, Luke, & Remy.

She was preceded in death by father, Russell Zeh, mother, Abbie Zeh, step-mother, Lola Zeh, husband, Melvin L. Johnson, son, Russell “Tony” Johnson, brother, Roger Zeh Reeves.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Ripley Crossing. If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.

Due to the current situation dealing with COVID-19, we are following the directives from Governor Holcomb and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concerning large events and mass gatherings.
