Marilyn Vanderbur, 63, passed away Wednesday March 22, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born June 14, 1958 in Greensburg to James and Sarah (Loyd) Vanderbur. She attended St. Mary’s School and graduated from Greensburg High School in the class of 1976.
She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and held several jobs including Marsh Supermarket. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She always wore a smile, had a clever sense of humor and will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew her.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and grandmothers Loretta Vanderbur and Cathleen Loyd. She is survived by a daughter, Ashley Brown of Greensburg and two grandchildren, Logen and Emalie Foster. Also surviving are six brothers, Rick (Kathy), Mike, David (Donna), all of Greensburg, Kenny of Nokomis, Florida, Paul of Speedway, Karl (Laura) of Zionsville, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
