Margaret Susan (Sue) Bacon age 80, went to be with our Lord on November 28th, 2023 at Our Hospice of Columbus, Indiana. Sue was surrounded by friends Dan & Vickie Hall, Daniel Galbraith, & Roger and Teresa Tucker.
Sue was born on May 13, 1943 at Camp Atterbury in Marion County, to parents Charles Harvey & Evenlyn Rae Ashcroft. She lived in New Point most of her life. Until the death of her soulmate Carl Kenneth Bode in January then she moved to Columbus, Indiana with friends, Dan & Vickie Hall.
Sue worked at Kmart until it closed and then went to work at Walmart until she retired. Sue loved to be around people, her hobbies included painting, working out in the yard & she enjoyed watching the different types of birds. She also loved to go junk shopping with her friend, Vickie Hall.
Sue is survived by a brother, David & Merna Haynes of California, dearest friends, Dan & Vickie Hall, Roger & Teresa Tucker. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Evenly Ashcroft, sister, Shirley Jo, and her soulmate, Carl Bode.
