(Franklin County, IN) – A Brookville man who was reported passed out in a central Franklin County intersection Thursday evening was arrested on drug possession charges.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Deputy Alex VanWinkle found 39-year-old Elbert A. Isaacs unconscious in a car stopped in the middle of the intersection of Oxford Pike and Whitcomb Road. VanWinkle and several other deputies were eventually able to wake Isaacs, who was allegedly in possession of several types of drugs and a handgun.
He was arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor drug possession-related charges.
Isaacs was lodged in the Franklin County Security Center.
