Batesville Police received a 9-1-1 call reporting an unresponsive male at the Hampton Inn in Batesville on Sunday morning around 7:30 a.m.
Police along with EMS responded to the hotel and found a male inside of a room, unresponsive and not breathing. The man was identified as Patrick Maguire, of Florida.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner. Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma.
Detectives of the police department are investigating the death and an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted by the Hamilton County (Ohio) Coroners Office.
Official results from the autopsy and toxicology results could take four to six weeks to receive.
