Columbus, IN — A Columbus man was arrested on Sunday evening by Columbus Police Department SWAT members after a domestic incident where he allegedly strangled a woman and held a gun to her head.
SWAT arrested Parker Broady, 24, of Columbus, after serving a warrant at his home. JNET Narcotic investigators later served a second warrant at the residence and another man who resides there, Jalen Nichols, 24, of Columbus, was arrested after drugs were allegedly observed inside the apartment.
Broady was charged on allegations of criminal confinement, intimidation, strangulation, pointing a firearm, domestic battery, and interference with the reporting of a crime. Nichols was charged on allegations of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
