Man arrested for failure to serve home detention

arrest2GREENSBURG, Ind. — A Greensburg man was arrested after he failed to show up to jail.

Greensburg police say Keith Hendershott, 25, was taken into custody on a warrant and charged with violation of a home detention order and failure to return to lawful detention.

Hendershott was convicted of a theft in October and was sentenced to 360 days and was ordered to begin serving the home detention portion of the sentence by November 29.

A warrant for his arrest was issued after he failed to report to the jail by December 2 to serve a 90 day jail term for failing to start serving home detention.
