Macye Lee Buckner, 76, of Dillsboro, formerly of Aurora, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Macye was born Thursday, September 24, 1942 in Ludlow, Kentucky the daughter of Edwin and Macye (Underhill) Hamilton. She taught for Northwest School District in Cincinnati, Ohio. She enjoyed reading and loved penguins.
Macye is survived by her daughter Lynn (Doug) Drahman of Aurora and brother Rodney (Sharon) Hamilton of South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Hamilton.
