Lora Janet Prasse, 88, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away Saturday April 3, 2021 in Milan, IN.
She was born October 2, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Howard Fairfield and Margaret (Schwanecke) Fairfield.
She worked as a Library Assistant for Cincinnati Public School System, retiring after over 20 years of service.
Janet loved to work with crafts. She made beautiful wreaths, which were her specialty. She was an avid reader, partly due to the years she worked in the Library System. Janet was an animal lover. The family always had a dog. She really enjoyed watching Hallmark Movies. Her favorite time was spent with family, especially spoiling great grandson Jack. She was a wonderful Mom, Gram and Great Gram. She will be greatly missed.
Janet is survived by her loving daughter, Janet (Gary) Louden of Aurora, IN; son, Robert “Bob” (Christy) Prasse of Cincinnati, OH; her loving grandchildren and great grandson.
She was preceded in death by father, Howard Fairfield, mother, Margaret Fairfield, husband, Robert E. Prasse, and daughter, Kathy Prasse.
Graveside Services will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 12:00 pm.
