On June 1, 1963, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Richard Kersey, in Metamora, Indiana at the Lighthouse Church.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Kersey; her daughter, Robin (Ken) Hall; grandchildren, Rodney (Fawn) Hicks, Brittany Hicks (Ken Garrison), Courtney (Kevin) Roberts; great grandchildren, Bryar, Lily, Carson, Haylee, Devin, Maci, Lexi, Rylee and Tristan. Loving sister of Depsie Cox, Janie (Jerry) Dole, Kathy (Steve) Carlisle, Judy (Allen) Holdcraft, Joe (Leslie) Hall and Larry (Terri) Hall.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Richard W. Kersey, daughter Kristy Denise Kersey, great grandson Jacob Roberts along with her siblings Harvey Lee Hall Jr., Emma Irene Allen, Eva Miller, Clora Taylor, Wanda Gambrel, Gary Lee Hall and Margaret Denny.

Lola was a wonderful person who could light up a room. She was always sharing her time and talents with others, including caring for her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren through the years. Lola was quite the gardener too always keeping busy tending to her vegetables and flower gardens. Many times, you’d find her picking beans, canning tomatoes or freezing corn and they always turned out delicious, as Lola was a good cook.  Lola and Richard also liked to take trips when they were able to get away, to their beloved Tennessee Smokey Mountains. Most of all, Lola loved being with her family and will be truly missed by so many.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 11:00am until time of funeral services at 1:00pm, all held at West Harrison Pentecostal Tabernacle, 752 Harrison-Brookville Rd., W. Harrison, IN 47060. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
