Lois F. Schilling, 89 of Moores Hill, passed away Thursday September 7 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Lois was born Saturday April 28, 1928 in Manchester Twp, the daughter of Roy and Inez (Borgman) LaFollette. She married Ralph Schilling February 18, 1950 and he preceded her in death February 18, 2009. She worked at Ulrich Drugstore for 15 years and DeVille’s Drugstore for 17 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, flower beds, collect coins, ceramics, and she had a shop called “Abby’s” in Metamora for 10 years. Her greatest thrive was spending time with her grandchildren.
Lois is survived by son Larry Schilling of Moores Hill; daughters: Teresa Schilling of Euless, TX; Charlene Schilling of Aurora; Barbara (Milos) Pittner of Moores Hill brothers: Virgil LaFollette of Indianapolis; James (Carol) LaFollette of Atlanta; sister: Jeanne LaFollette of Milford, Ohio. 5 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters: Dorothy Ann LaFollette, Geraldine Kuebel, Rita Bonfiglio.
