Lafayette, In. — Southeastern Indiana REMC sent four students to the Touchstone Energy Camp recently. Sixth graders Gage Fenton, Jesse Sizemore, Anna Bergman and Hadrian Emley attended the event at Camp Tecumseh in the Lafayette area June 7 through 10.
The students participated in environmental education classes, electrical safety classes, horseback riding, canoeing, rock climbing, swimming, archery and zip lining. The camp wrapped up with a dance and pizza party.
The students also learned about the role of the electric cooperative in their community.
