Brookville, IN — Thanks to the assistance of several people and local businesses, Brookville Police Department’s second “Shop with a Cop” event was a success. The Brookville Police Department was able to help 43 children and their families with Christmas shopping this season. The event took place at the Oxford, Ohio Walmart and Little Ceasars in Oxford provided 60 pizzas at a discount for all those participating to enjoy.
Due to COVID-19, the event was modified to meet several new safety protocols. This involved multiple event changes including reducing the number of participants, according to officials. The Brookville Police Department had assistance from many donors in the community to make the event successful.
