(Batesville, IN) – The City of Batesville reminds drivers and pedestrians that the intersection of Delaware Road and Pohlman Street is now a four-way stop after the Street Department installed additional stop signs this week.
The intersection sits between Liberty Park and The Plex, which are two of the city’s busiest recreation areas with regular foot traffic, including kids moving between play areas, fields, and trails.
Converting this to a four-way stop is intended to slow vehicles and improve visibility for everyone using these facilities.
As you travel through this area, city officials urge you to be extra careful while drivers and pedestrians get used to the new traffic pattern.
