Batesville, In. — Municipalities across the state are celebrating the receipt of Community Crossing Grant money. The matching grant program was established in 2017 to help smaller government units complete infrastructure repairs and upgrades.

- Town of Holton $164,817.71
- Town of Osgood $999,900.00
- Ripley County $1,000,000
- City of Rising Sun $682,440.56
- Town of Sunman $411,424.00
- Switzerland County $783,390.20
- Batesville, $738,000
State officials evaluated more than 229 applications to determine what projects to fund. In July another group of grant awards will be announced that will total $100 million.
