Batesville, IN —The State Route 46 bridge over Little Laughery Creek in Batesville is expected to reopen by the end of this week, weather permitting. The contractor completed base and intermediate paving on Monday and will install guardrail and lay the surface layer of pavement before opening the road. Flagging will take place in August for additional work on the bridge, including sealing the deck, sign installation, and clean-up. The structure replacement project began in early June.
