Lillie Stanfield, 77, of Dillsboro passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at The Waters of Dillsboro. Lillie was born Sunday, January 17, 1943 in Florence, Alabama, the daughter of the late Thomas “Tommy” and Pearl Phillips. Lillie retired from Ivy Tech in Lawrenceburg as the front desk secretary and she was a member of Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano; sewing; painting; coloring; making floral arrangements; spending time with her family; and she especially enjoyed her cats.
Lillie is survived by son Steven Stanfield of Milan; daughter Ramona Stanfield of Milan; father of their children, Steven Stanfield of Waterloo, Alabama; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Vonda Adams.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Lillie to the family in care of the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan.
