Library to Hold Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate New Patio and Renovations

(Greensburg, IN) – The Greensburg/Decatur County Public Library will hold a ribbon-cutting to celebrate a new structure and recently-completed renovations on Saturday, September 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We have a beautiful new outdoor area, a patio, where we can host outdoor programming,” said Lori Durbin with the library. “People can see the remodeling of our meeting room. We have a new sound system, a new projector, retractable screen, our bathrooms have all been redone to make them handicapped accessible.”

Durbin says there will be food and fun for all ages, including popcorn, hot dogs, balloon animals by The Talented Twisters, face painting, outdoor games, cotton candy, a bubble machine, and music from Kit Haymond

You are asked to bring your own chair or blanket.

Upgrades to the library started time last year.
