Lena (Davis) Weber, age 82, passed on Friday January 6, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
Lena was born on January 2, 1941 in Scioto County, Ohio into a large family; with loving parents, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. She met the love of her life, George Weber, and they were married on April 1, 1962. They were married for 60 joyous years. Their love now lives on in their children and grandchildren.
For many years Lena did rewarding care work at Muscatatuck State Developmental Center. She was a 4-H and Girl Scout leader. Lena loved God and was a member of Milan First Baptist Church; involved in Good News Club, Vacation Bible School, and Women’s Group. She enjoyed gardening, avidly watching jeopardy and wheel of fortune, sewing, crafting, baking & cooking, and loved her family most of all. Lena was a very kind, thoughtful, and loving soul who impacted the lives of so many.
Lena will be dearly missed by her children Melissa (Wade) and Travis (Katie); grandchildren: Sydni, DeLanie, Alec, and Elizabeth (Logan); and siblings Ed Davis (Jim), Lisa (Mike) Gilpin , Ben Davis(Sandy), Flora Kane, and brother in law Joe Weig,many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Lena was preceded in death and will be reunited in heaven with her parents Elizabeth & Earl Davis, husband George, son Derrick, and siblings Lafe Davis, Hattie Robinson, and Opal Weig.
Lena’s wishes were to have no services.
