(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) served as vice chair of the Indiana State Fair Committee meeting on Thursday, October 30.
The committee reviewed the Indiana State Fair‘s finances, discussed what went well at last year’s event, how the 2025 fair had a final attendance of 854,977, how to improve the fair experience, and looked ahead to next year.
The 2026 Indiana State Fair is scheduled for August 7-23 and will be closed on Mondays.
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
