(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) presented a resolution on Thursday, February 13, recognizing the National FFA Organization and the Indiana FFA Association for their work advancing agricultural education in Indiana and across the country (pictured).
As chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Leising is tasked with crafting legislation to support Indiana’s multibillion dollar agriculture industry.
Leising says she’s grateful for organizations such as the FFA for training the next generation of Indiana farmers and community leaders.
This is National FFA Week. The commemoration runs through Saturday.
