Indianapolis, IN—At a recent luncheon hosted by the Indiana Rural Health Association, it named State Senator Jean Leising as the 2019 Policy Advocate of the Year. Leising received the award for her leadership and continued support of rural health initiatives. Leising serves on the Health and Provider Services committee and in the past has helped author bills to help reduce infant mortality rates.
