Indianapolis, In. — Indiana Farm Bureau has named state senator Jean Leising as the 2018 Legislator of the Year. President Randy Kron presented Leising with the honor during a Farm Bureau legislative luncheon in Indianapolis.
Leising was recognized for leadership as chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture as well as consideration of Indiana Farm Bureau policy on agricultural and rural initiatives in 2018.
