(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) chaired the third Rural Caucus on March 3 (pictured).
A number of state lawmakers attended and heard presentations from members of the Indiana Department of Agriculture and the Indiana State Board of Animal Health.
Topics included avian flu, tariffs and other pressing issues facing the agricultural community.
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
