(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) chaired the first Rural Caucus meeting of the year on Wednesday, January 14.
The group heard from Senior Demographic Analyst at Indiana University Matt Kinghorn on the shifting population in rural areas.
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes all of Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and parts of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
