He was born on December 11, 1943, in Milan, Indiana, the son of the late Harold and Pauline (Houday) Craig.
Lee worked as a Boiler Kettle Operator for Bayer, retiring after more than 30 years of dedicated service.
He loved mowing the lawn-so much so that he often mowed for neighbors and friends. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and was truly a jack of all trades. Whether working on cars, building a shelter, or lending a hand to anyone in need, Lee was always willing to help. He was also an animal lover, especially fond of his dogs-Scruffy, Jake, Chad, and Tater Chip-and his cat, Princess. Lee enjoyed eating out and cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Lowe) Craig; his children, Billy (Christina) Craig of Greendale, IN, Michael (Carman) Craig of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Victoria (Gary) Lobenstein of West Harrison, IN; and his stepson, Randy Lowe of Lawrenceburg, IN.; his grandchildren, Chantel, Austin, Justin, Josh, Cody, Cassie, Rylan, & Tori as well as 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
