Batesville, IN — Leaf pickup starts tomorrow (Friday) in the City of Batesville.
Residents are asked not to rake leaves onto curbs or in gutters because rain washes the leaves into the stormwater system and clogs pipes.
The leaves should be raked to the edge of yards above gutters so that the leaf vacuum truck can come by and scoop them up for proper disposal.
Leaf collection runs through early December, weather permitting.
