(Lawrenceburg, IN) – One of the first Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas (DORA) in Southeastern Indiana launches today.
The DORA in Lawrenceburg is open daily from 11 a.m. to Midnight.
During those hours, you’re allowed to drink alcoholic beverages in public areas under certain conditions.

You must be 21 and older to consume alcoholic beverages.
Greensburg City Council earlier this year approved an ordinance creating a DORA, but it’s not clear when the designation will become official. The plan has been submitted to the State for final approval.
