Here is a look at important dates leading up to the November 2018 General Election
- April 10, 2018: First day that a voter may vote an absentee ballot for the 2018 primary election in the office of the county election board or a satellite facility.
- April 30, 2018: Deadline for absentee-by-mail applications to be received by the county office for the 2018 primary election.
- May 8, 2018: Primary Election Day.
- May 22, 2018: First day a voter may file an absentee ballot application with a county election board to vote in the November 6, 2018 general election.
- October 10, 2018: First day that a voter may vote an absentee ballot for the 2018 general election in the office of the county election board or a satellite facility.
- October 29, 2018: Deadline for absentee-by-mail applications to be received by the county office for the 2018 general election.
- November 6, 2018: General Election Day.
In Indiana convicted felons can vote immediately following the completion of the prison term.
